1) Where to apply, and where will the checking of the documents take place?
The Marriage Registration and Records Office
3/F, Low Block
Queensway Government Offices
66 Queensway
Hong Kong
Check out the requirements for your specific case per mail: "enquiry@immd.gov.hk",
topic e.g.: "giving notice of intended marriage of 2 persons being no Hong Kong citizens living outside Hong Kong"
- forms to be filled - page 1+2 of the attached .pdf-file
- deadline for the registration per mail: 15 days before the wedding. I recommend, to send scanned copies of all documents per e-mail in advance before sending them per FedEx or others, in order to get them checked first. 15 days before the wedding the printed documents must be in Hong Kong
- best days in my opinion to marry are wednesdays, since you will have to present your original documents 2 working days before, which can happen that way on a monday. The whole procedure should be possible within 1 week only, if you apply for the "Apostille of the Hague" at the High Court and start the registration at the Philippine Consulate also on wednesday directly after the wedding.
- Not recommended: The option to marry with "Civil Celebrant" - it might take some days until you get your certificate if you chose this way
