SM Megamall was recently granted the safety seal by the local government of Mandaluyong, the first mall in the city to be given the recognition under the COVID-19 national task force’s safety program.
“We are happy and honored to have been granted the Safety Seal," said Steven Tan, president of SM Supermalls. "This recognition pushes us to work harder to provide our mall-goers with a safe environment where they can perform essential tasks, have fun and bond with their families in the new normal.”
The Safety Seal certification is granted by the government to buildings and establishments that are compliant with the minimum public health standards and use accredited contact tracing app such as Mandatrack for Mandaluyong City and StaySafe.ph application.
