    Hallo!


    Gute Auflistung. Thailand ist hier auch kaum billiger mit den Appartments, schliesslich ist der Wechselkurs des THB um ca. 30 % schlechter wie der des PHP. In EURO ausgedrückt sind PHP 8000 gleichbedeutend mit ca. THB 5600!

  • Angeles City überfüllt mit Touris

    Ich stehe in Kontakt mit einem "PH-Profi", er ist gerade ein paar Tage in AC, er schreibt nahezu alle Hotels wären ausgebucht und in den Restaurants würde man kaum einen freien Tisch bekommen. Auch würden die Preise spürbar anziehen.

    Habe mir mal die Infos dort angeschaut, sind nicht so "ergiebig" wie der link von "andy".

    Die Seite kenne ich selbstverständlich, nur habe ich bisher nicht nach Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten dort für diese beiden Inseln geschaut, die Hotel- und Resortvorschläge in "WOWPhilippines" sind eher für den "wealthy tourist" gedacht.

    "You can get to Samal Island , off the east coast of Davao in the Gulf of Davao, by hopping on a public banca near Sasa Bridge (1hr; P20). Jeepneys marked "Sasa" will take you to within spitting distance of the boat station. You can also get a more expensive ferry (P150) from the pier at the Insular Century Hotel Davao, just off JP Cabaguio Avenue, on the road to the airport. Pearl farms once dotted Samal, but these days the main temptation for wealthy tourists are the classy resorts on the west coast. On the northern coast there are some fine beaches and more rudimentary resorts that nevertheless offer good rooms and cheap food. Paradise Resort (no phone; $10-20) can get busy at weekends, but has good clean doubles with privet shower and excellent chicken barbecue and tuna jaw. Next door is Costa Marina (no phone), which has similar facilities, but is usually less crowded. Off the southwest coast of Samal Island is Talikud Island , which has excellent scuba diving and a handful of quiet but rudimentary beach resorts. Boats for Talikud leave every morning at 6am, 7am and 9am (P30) from Santa Ana Wharf in Davao."
