On February 29, 2024, two Airbus A340 aircraft with reg. numbers C5-MIA and C5-MIC departed Lithuanian Siauliai airport, flying to Sri Lanka and the Philippines.
After an approx. flight of 8 hours, both of them disappeared over Iran, one near Tehran, and the other - near Chabahar (south of Iran).
Both the aircraft C5-MIA and C5-MIC were owned by the leasing company Macka Invest Company and had been in storage in Siauliai for around two years.
