Dear Mr. President,
I hope you get my message as I like to inform you about a mobile phone SCAM that involves Globe Telecom and a company named http://www.forest-interactive.com - makes of http://www.gameworld.ph
I have postpaid contracts with Globe and I always get txt messages from this gameworld.ph service that tell me "Thank you for your subscription to GameWorld! .... " And they bill 5php per week or renew the subscription later for 50php for 7 days.
This is a SCAM as I never signed up for this service - and as long one doesn't sign out they go on stealing money from customers.
Its no joke that of course you can send a txt message with "STOP" to sign out ... But maybe ask yourself why then you pften only get a "Service not available" response ?
So better to go to a globe shop ... But that takes time and while you try to sign out those companys "earn" money.
Can you therefore pls informa all mobile phone companies or companies doing business that it is unlawfull to take money from customers without having a permission - as long I dont sign up for gameworld they shouldnt bill me at all or sign me up without my permission !
As this scam is happening to millions of philippinos I guess it is something you and I agree on - protect the philippino people from crime - and this is nothing else but crime - steal money from innocent people !
Salamat
